What Reach actually is
Reach Commerce is your operated European sales channel. We stand up UK and EU storefronts under our own entities, become the legal seller of record in every market, and run checkout, tax, duty and compliance end to end. Your customers buy in their own language and currency at one all-in price. The order routes straight to you, and you fulfil from your existing warehouse. You take the revenue and keep the brand. We hold the market.
One product. Every market. Local currency, all-in.
- UK £45
- Germany €50
- Poland 215 zł
- Sweden 590 kr
Every price is all-in: VAT and duty included, nothing to pay on delivery. Illustrative — actual RRP is set per market.
Inside that one price: local duty, VAT/IOSS remittance, FX and our service — all absorbed as seller of record. The customer pays once, owes nothing at customs, and typically pays only ~8% above a straight currency conversion. (Fulfilment stays with you — we help you set up couriers and shipping options, but you keep control of how you ship.)
- ~8% all-in uplift to the customer — not the 20–30% they brace for
- 4–8 wks from signed to a live, localised UK + EU checkout
- £0 tax, VAT or compliance liability landing on you
- 1 warehouse — yours, unchanged — however many markets you add
The demand is already there. The infrastructure isn't.
You can see it in your own comments and in the freight-forwarders that spring up specifically to move your product overseas — customers paying a premium and waiting longer for something you could sell them directly. Building that capability yourself means new entities, VAT and IOSS registration, EU compliance, customs and localised checkout: six-plus months and real capital most brands can't justify for an unproven market.
- A new foreign entity to form and administer abroad
- VAT & IOSS registration across two separate regimes
- Duties, customs paperwork and shifting import rules
- Localised, duty-inclusive checkout in the right currency
One sale, start to finish
A customer in one of your European markets places an order. Here's what happens — and what never lands on you.
- 01
The customer buys from us
They check out in their own language and currency, with duties and VAT already inside the price. Our local entity is the seller of record and collects the payment.
- 02
The order routes to you
It lands in your system automatically. You fulfil from your existing warehouse, wherever it is — no requirement to relocate stock. As volume grows, we can also help you set up local UK/EU stock-holding to cut delivery times.
- 03
We settle with you monthly
Each cycle we reconcile all UK & EU sales and pay your agreed cost price on everything sold that month, in one consolidated settlement with a full per-order breakdown. You're paid for what sells — never financing unsold stock — and your accounts see one clean payment, not a stream of micro-transactions.
- 04
Nothing at the door
The customer pays one all-in price and owes nothing on delivery. As the seller of record, we settle every tax, duty and FX line behind the scenes — no surprise fees, no sale-killing email.
Priced so international revenue pays for itself
A scoped upfront fee to build your localised storefronts and stand up the entities, then a share of the UK & EU sales we operate for you. Your domestic pricing never changes — this is revenue you aren't capturing today.
Scoped build fee
Entity structure, tax registration and a fully localised Shopify build — tiered by category and complexity.
A share of new revenue
An agreed rate on the UK & EU sales we operate as seller of record — aligned to volume you weren't reaching before.
No European entity. No VAT filings. No customs surprises at the door.
You don't register an entity. You don't file VAT or IOSS. You don't get chased for a permanent-establishment ruling or a duty reclassification. We are the legal seller in every market we operate — the liability, the filings and the payment risk sit with us, not you.
You never touch
- Registering an entity in the UK or EU
- VAT & IOSS filings and remittance
- Permanent-establishment & duty rulings
- Customs, duties and import paperwork
- Chargebacks and payment-processing risk
You keep
- Your brand and creative control
- The customer relationship
- Your own warehouse and fulfilment
You change nothing about how you operate. We become the market's seller of record; you stay the brand behind it.
The build, the compliance and the logistics — under one roof
Most platforms in this space subcontract the actual work. We do it directly, which is both a cost and a credibility advantage.
Shopify Plus development
Hands-on Checkout Extensibility, Shopify Functions and Markets. The localised build is never the bottleneck.
Cross-border logistics
Direct experience in international shipping, customs and duties — so landed cost and paperwork are set up right from day one.
Built on both sides of the border
Our UK entity is Northern Ireland–based — inside the UK, yet aligned to EU rules for goods under the Windsor Framework — with our EU entity in Dublin. We understand both sides of the UK/EU border in a way a GB-only or Dublin-only operator can't.
The questions brands ask first
Do I need to set up my own entity abroad?
No. We're the seller of record in the UK and EU through our own entities. You don't form, register or administer anything overseas — that's the whole point.
Does anything change about how I fulfil?
No. Orders route to you automatically and you ship from your existing warehouse, exactly as you do today. Later, if volume justifies it, we can help you set up local UK/EU stock-holding — but that's optional and never day one.
Who carries the VAT, duties and payment risk?
We do. As the legal seller, VAT and IOSS filings, customs and duties, and chargeback and payment-processing risk all sit with us — not you. You keep manufacturing and home-market compliance, as you would anyway.
What does my customer actually pay?
One all-in price in their own currency, with duties and VAT already inside it — typically around 8% above a straight conversion, and nothing owed on delivery. No customs bill, no surprise fees.
How long until I'm live?
We target a four-to-eight-week window from a signed agreement to a live, localised UK + EU checkout — not day one, but not a multi-month build either.
How and when do I get paid?
Monthly. We reconcile every cycle and settle your agreed cost price on all units sold that month in one consolidated payment, with a full per-order breakdown. You're paid for what sold — you never finance unsold stock.
Which markets can I sell into?
The UK and across Europe — including non-euro markets like Poland, Sweden and Denmark. Each storefront runs in the local language and currency, with the correct local tax and duty handled, so every customer gets a native buying experience.
Whose name is on the sale — does this affect my brand?
Legally, ours: we're the seller of record, which is how we absorb the tax, duty and payment risk. Experientially, it's entirely yours — your storefront, your brand, your customer relationship. Reach sits behind the checkout, not in front of it.
Does this create any tax exposure for my company abroad?
No. The entities, registrations and filings are ours, and the relationship is structured so the seller-of-record position and its liabilities sit with us, not you. You keep manufacturing and your home-market obligations, as you would anyway.
If your customers are already asking why you don't ship to them, that's a conversation worth having.
A short call is enough to see whether it's a fit for your brand. No entity to stand up on your side to find out.
